*Ashes: Mike B. and the fuzz-ball idiots burned down (by accident) the original Tamarack Lodge, summer of 1971/'72. Only one fatality. (Similar to the Trapp Family Lodge fire, Stowe Vt.) By my reckoning: chimney fire. I was bivouacked over by Mt. Agassiz with the Zeke Tribe.
