First, the bad news: terminal cancer (self diagnosed); the good news? 15 - 35 years to live, yee ha!
I finally filed for disability (spinal cord injury/fuzzball tennis induced scoliosis) after 40 years of struggle, couple years ago, payments comin in about a year ago (HHS), around $800/mo. As many people assume, I did not file for disability as a result of falling out of a tree (25 feet) and breaking my neck (1996). This was just collateral damage.
